I live in Hawaii with dh, who is in the army and currently deployed to Afghanistan, and 2 naughty whippet doggies. They look like greyhounds but are much smaller.
I am new to scrapping and just love to see what I can come up with, and more importantly what others can! I love to see everyones layouts and try and get inspiration from everyone elses fantastic work. I love to use eyelets, fibers, and 3d embellishments, i am not really into flat stickers and i LOVE lumpy scrapping. jolees and the k and co embossed and 3d lines are some of my faves! i dont like to use shaped eyelets very much.. the heart ones are cute but thats about it :) i have never used brads yet but about to try. i love doodlebug, MM stuff.. not so into browns and darker colours. i use lots of pastels and brights. and lots of americana.
i do alot of beach layouts, living here is very inspirational. i also do alot of doggy layouts because i am somewhat obsessed with my "babies". i am starting to work on an army album for my husband, because i am so proud of his choice to serve his country and i want to make sure we keep the memories forever.
my birthday is december 20. im a crazy saggitarius.
Album size? 12x12 all the way. postbound.
Color choices? i like pastels, primaries, jewel tones, neutral.. mix of stuff but not really heritage colours.
Kids? none.
What ages? see above :)
Pets? my "kids". 2 naughty whippet doggies that i love to death.
What kind? oh. dogs. 2.
What kind of layouts are you going to be working on in the future? more military.. army.. some more of the island, i am about to start scrapping my doggies' album too. i just kind of piddle around alot and do what comes to mind.
Do you have a sizzix? no. no diecut system.
Do you like cute stuff? umm... some. but if suzy's zoo is cute then no way.
Heritage? not yet. maybe in the future.
Do you use diecuts? not a whole lot.
Lumpy or not lumpy? very into the lumps.
Anything you won't use? suzy's zoo. most flat stickers.. i like 3d. 8 1/2x11.
Favorite designers? k and co. jolees. doodlebug. karen foster. MM.
Anything you are wanting to try? more metal stuff... i dont have a whole lot. alphadots. heat embossing.
Eyelets? love them. but only plain ones in different colours. not shaped ones.
Brads? havent yet but will be trying in the near future.
Nailheads? dont even really know what they are. but ill say yes.
