Been scrapbooking for only a couple of months. Said there was no way I would start yet another hobby but decided to give it a try when I learned a grandbaby was on the way. Did one page and got sucked in! LOL
Live alone (well, with one dog and two cats). My only daughter moved back home recently. We live in a small city (4000) in far southwest Virginia.
I love to read, play the piano, and am active in church. Always eager to learn and fascinated by scrapbooking and all the new ideas that are floating around.
I have only done a few pages so I guess I am still developing a style. I like the look of color blocking but no particular color preferences - like bold colors, pastels, even the heritage colors. Have tried brads, eyelets, stickers, fibers, and maybe a few other things but want to try lots more.
I just stumbled on this board one night when I was looking for something else but immediately got hooked. Everyone has been extremely helpful to me and I am eager to check in several times a day to see what is happening. Thanks to everyone!
Album size? so far 12 x 12\\\\\\\" but I\\\\\\\'ve bought a couple of 6 x 6\\\\\\\" to try.
Color choices? Like them all.
Kids? Daughter Erin, 26; pregnant and due to deliver her first child June 9; a girl, we think

Pets? Dog Sasha, two cats Morgan and Buki
What kind? All are strays. Sasha is probably a Lhasa Apso; Morgan is yellow shorthair; Buki is tiger with long hair
What kind of layouts are you going to be working on in the future? Catching up on Erin\\\\\\\'s first 26 years and getting ready to do baby pages. Also working (VERY slowly) on BOM.
Do you have a sizzix? No
Do you like cute stuff? Yep, including Suzi\\\\\\\'s zoo!

Lumpy or not lumpy? Started out saying not lumpy but quickly converted!

Do you stamp? Got into it several years ago when it was so popular; spent a fortune and did very little stamping. Put it all in our church yard sale last spring and now wish I hadn\\\\\\\'t. Turns out most of it was bought by our preschool teacher who says I can have it back if I want. Small world!
