About
Hello Everyone,
I started my papercrafting addiction about 4 years ago when I went to buy some Mother's Day cards. The nice young man rang up my 4 cards and said "your total is $24.74" I said "What ?? for 4 cards???" I said no way, and left the store with my daughter saying "We're going to make cards for gramma's and great gramma's this year" When I thought about it, I had never really bought more than 1 or 2 cards by themselves before, I always shopped for them with the rest of the stuff for the house, like toothpaste, tp and stuff. Long story short, that $25 dollars in cards falls a bit short in the supplies I now have to 'save money' and make my own :) hahaha I love paper, all things paper and taking pictures to scrap...
I live in Lonsdale, MN with my wonderful DH who has given me the complete run of the 3rd floor of our home to craft/scrap in. The only bummer about it is that my computer is in the kitchen. My next purchase will be a laptop for my craft room. My 9 year old daughter loves to craft with me, between her athletic stuff. We love to camp, travel and attend sporting events. I have a degree in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, but have done many things in the last 9 years since our daughter was born, I was a stay at home mom for the first 4 years, then subbed in Early Childhood, and worked as a para last year. This year I am working for the Minnesota Reading Corp as an elementary tutor.
I am almost to the point of buying the paper first and taking the pictures to go with the cute paper I just bought, but not quite. :)
