Greetings from snowy Syracuse, NY! I am a life long central New Yorker - and I hate the cold! I am also a nurse who retired in 2016 but when Covid hit I answered the call from NY Governor Cuomo for retired medical professionals to come back to work. From March 2020 until March 2023 I worked (remotely!) on the Covid hotline - it was meaningful and fulfilling work, and I trained all my life for it, but it did get in the way of scrapbooking. Now that the pandemic is in the rear view mirror, I still work per diem remotely on a triage line. I have 2 grown children. My DD lives in Minnesota has given me 3 beautiful subjects to scrapbook Penn (14) my only DGS, Maren (11) and Nora (8), and my DS lives outside of NYC and has given me three beautiful subjects: Emma (6), Isabel (4) & Sophie (2)! When I am not busy counseling patients, I scrapbook, attend lots of crops and love cruising! My husband (of 42 yrs!) recently retired. After losing our dear Rudy at 18 years of age, we currently have 2 feline furrbabies left at home - aka our coworkers: Otto (10) and Luna (9).
