I've been a Stick Chick since early 2003 when I placed my first order and joined the message board in August of 2003.
I've been scrapbooking (this time around) since January of 2002 but recently found my scrapbook from 1977. My DD's school wanted to borrow it as I attended the first year it opened and they are now holding it in their vault! I really need to take some undu to it and re-do it.
As feverishly as I scrapbook, it seems I remain about a year behind. I work in 12x12 CM albums and have several books going simultaneously -- family chronological, Girl Scouts, vacation album, and school book for my DD.
I have been married since 86 to the guy I began dating at 17 -- he was a rock star and I was a groupie (gotta love the 70s). We have one daughter, Kayleigh, who is almost 12 and who is often a better scrapbooker than I am as many of the other Stick Chicks will attest to.
I'm definitely a paper addict and my current faves are Gin-X, Arctic Frog and Basic Grey. My favorite part of scrapbooking is the photography. I'm rarely seen without my camera (which is probably why I'm so behind in my albums -- not to mention the photos in albums from before I was a scrapbooker!)
My favorite thing to do now is weekend scrapbooking retreats ... what's not to love about cropping in your pajamas with 200 other women all night long?
I've had an absolute blast meeting several Stick Chicks and hope to meet more of you in the future.
