I am a SAHM of a beautiful 3 year old girl. My DH is in the military, just returned home from a year long tour in Iraq and we are currently stationed at FT.HOOD TEXAS. I've been scrapping for 3 years now, started with the birth of my daughter, and am completly obsessed with it now! My style is simple.....I don't follow what's "in" or any of that, just do what I like and feel looks good.
Album size? 12x12
Color choices? oranges, pinks, yellows, melons! A LOT OF PURPLE! I am trying to start using more variety, but those are my favorites.
Kids? Yes
What ages?Daughter is 3
Pets? Daughter just got 2 fish.
What kind of layouts are you going to be working on in the future? Always working on DD. Going to start a family album, wedding album, and military album for my DH. Playing with the idea of a Christmas album. Thinking about a BOM too. Also just decided to start a dance album for DD and an album for my husband.
Do you have a sizzix? Nope
Do you like cute stuff? NOT AT ALL!!!!
Heritage? Some of it is okay.
Do you use diecuts? A little, but not really. Don't care for them!
Lumpy or not lumpy? A little lumpy.
Anything you won't use? Glitter!
Favorite designers? BAZZIL!!! I AM OFFICIALLY OBSESSED! I can't get enough of it! Also, Karen Foster, Laura Ashley, Making Memories and many more.
Anything you are wanting to try? Liquid Chalks
Do you stamp? Just starting to.
Chalk? OH YES!!!!
Ribbon (unprinted/printed)? Both.
Patches? Haven't tried this yet.
Metal clips? Um....haven't used any yet...am open to it though.
Wooden embellishments? Would use them if I had some.
Library pockets/cards? Would use them if I had some.
Buckles (metal/palstic)? Would use them if I had some.
Twist ties? Nope.
Decorative brads? OH YES!!!! ALL THE TIME!!!
Twill (unprinted/printed)?Yes.
Fabric? Yes.
Bottlecaps (plain/printed)? Have been wanting to try.
Rick Rack? Yes.
Canvas embellishments? Yes.
Color washes? Wanting to try....a bit scared.
Walnut ink? Yes.
Liquid chalk ink pads? Want to try this!
Acrylic paints? Yes.
Foam stamps? YES!!!!
Regular stamps? YES!!!!!!
What is your favorite type of item to make? Journal Boxes.
What is your least favorite type of item to make? Shaker Boxes.
Do you use journal boxes on a regular basis? Yep!!!
Do you use borders on a regular basis? No, but I do use them.
Do you use titles on a regular basis? (By titles I mean those that you make on a separate piece of paper and then adhere to the background. So, it doesn't include just adhering letters to the background.) I use them sometimes, but not always.
Do you use embellished tags on a regular basis? (and by that I mean those that you embellish yourself.) No.
Do you use paper piecings on a regular basis? No.
Do you use shakers on a regular basis? NO!!!
Do you use deco squares on a regular basis? Sometimes.
Do you use serendipity squares on a regular basis? No.
What is your greatest scrapbooking weakness? Stickers. That is what got me into scrapbooking and I tend to want to use WAY TO MANY!!!!
What is your favorite paper theme (i.e., floral, stripes, plaid, fun themes, solids)? I like it all guys!!! But am really into stripes and plaid right now!
Other than time and money (which we all need more of), what is your greatest scrapbooking challenge? Trying new things! I tend to get scared!
