Re: Who is starting

Like Chris, being retired, my days are all the same. No special plans on my end. Being out as we are, we will be subjected to lots of noise, I'm sure. There is nothing by woods around, especially across the canal behind me, that's were these Florida Red Necks go to drink and make noise. They don't c...

DGD and Family Preparing to Leave Japan

Although this doesn't compare with what many of you are facing now, I need to share and request prayers for safety. My Dear Granddaughter just texted that they have boarded the shuttle to the Narita airport for their flight to the US. I am trying to trust the Lord but I admit I am scared for them in...

Re: Scrap a Day, July 2nd

Sorry for all the stress with the electric, Barb, I do agree with Laura about the fridge door and the food being safe - just cook it and then freeze it. Eggs are not a critical as meat, they should be fine. We have had storms lately and did not loose power. All next week the forecast is thunder stor...

Re: Scrap a day, July 1st

Hi ladies! No scrapping for me today. I am so glad this day has come to almost the end. It's been hot and I got a late start with my morning walk which got me too hot. I can relate with the no mask shoppers, I don't get it! We also have the one way arrows for people to ignore! Frustrating. Bless you...

Thanks for this idea. We have never liked beef so only cook turkey burgers, which my DD likes often. I love the idea of the feta!

Re: i-Crafter white ink pad, anyone have one?

Stacy, I hear ya. Jennifer stamped an image, not a sentiment. From my experience of stamping sentiments a lot depends on the crispness of the stamp font. If it is too "complicated" I can see it being fuzzy as when I use embossing powder I have to make sure I use the "fine" powder not the regular. So...

Wow! Your challenges are so fun. This decade was probably the most life changing in my lifetime. Coming of age, ya know! Graduated HS 1965, should tell you.
I have 2 picked so far that I know I have photos for.

Re: i-Crafter white ink pad, anyone have one?

Jennifer McGuire shows videos where she stamps in white pigment ink. I looked one of them up and it was Hero Arts Unicorn White. DD uses a couple she likes, Jane Davenport squid ink in white. The FSJ, which is made by Spellbinders, is really good. I tend to go for heat embossing with white powder wh...

COVID-19 in Craft Terms

My daughter just found this on FB, had to educate my fellow crafting Cherries!

Corona Virus explained in craft terms:

You and 9 friends are crafting.
1 is using glitter.
How many projects have glitter?

Re: Scrap a Day, June 30th

"All is well that ends well" I've heard said. June is about to end and I didn't meet my scrap goal. But, my day is ending a lot better than it started. After finishing breakfast and chores I needed to go to the grocery store. It had been a while and some items were needed, like almond milk and eggs....
