Re: August 2020 Movie of the Decade Challenge- the 70's

I have not heard of this movie before but when I saw the list of titles I knew this was perfect to use to scrap my daughter Alex and a 'wandering' cat in her new neighborhood.  The cat is a true opportunist as we saw her lounging on several porches in the neighborhood thus deserving of the 'gypsy' m...

Re: AUGUST 2020 SKETCH With A Twist Challenge

Great choice of sketches!   I added some speech bubble pieces that I fussy cut from a sheet of Echo Park paper.

Title inspired by the movie challenge

Re: August 2020 Book Lover's Challenge

I went with Option 2 (use the word Believe in the title).  I went with "Imagine it.  Believe it... Live it"

Sadly, the title doesn't show up well against the flowered background paper but I know what it says

Re: August 2020 Cherry Lift Challenge

Great choice of designers! I chose a layout with banners and horizontal lines.  The banners inspired me to use some old ephemera from Prima that included banner pieces as part of the packaging.  I have had that packaging including the letters for SO LONG so loved that I finally used it! Ironically w...

Re: July 2020 Book Lover's Challenge

Back in March 2010 I was in Seattle on business and my family flew out to meet me to have a vacation after my meetings.  So much fun especially introducing my daughter to what 'real' snow looked like instead of the rare 1-2 inches she's only seen before.  https://sbing.com/i/gallery2/422287-490.jpg

Re: July 2020 Movie of the Decade Challenge - 60's

I chose the movie "Magnificent Seven" as I had only seven perfect tomatoes from my garden this year so it was a perfect title.  Using a cut file for the '7" was inspired by Donna's 3-in-a-row challenge

Re: July 3 in a Row with a Twist

I chose the middle column:  ink, layers, and stamps.  I used four different stamps including two 'splatter' stamps I picked up at a stamp show many years ago.
The title is from the Movie challenge

Re: July 2020 My Mood Challenge

Great idea!

I used lots of angles on both the tags and the papers behind the photo.  And I dug out tons of puffy stickers including alphas for the title, hearts, an arrow, and two puffy word stickers.

Also using for Collection Bashing challenge

Re: June/July *New Challenge* Collection Bashing!

I don;t have a lot of 'collections' per se but do have sets of things I really need to use up like an entire pack (less one) of Heidi Grace clear epoxy stickers that are literally yellowed with age.  I also realized I had a lot of pieces from Fancy Pants "Trend Setter" including border stickers, two...

OPTION 2: Internationally Minded The country of Botswana is described in such beautiful detail in the book, that it seems to come to life and the reader is transported there, even if never having visited. However, there ARE many international locales you may have visited, so that's what Option 2 is...
