Who went to the warehouse sale?

When I seen the post I was so sad. I live in Alabama and just could not talk dh into a trip for supplies (lol).

LOL...sorry about that. It was fun. Got a hug from Heidi and some teasing from Clint. Great buys....spent $100 and got 2 $5 gift cards as a reward. Working on a layout about it.

The warehouse sale sounds fun, but honestly, I buy the new release stuff right away before it goes out of stock, so not sure I'd find that much to buy that I really wanted.

It's fun becasue if I"m not sure about a new release, I can actually see and and touch it.....I have bought more that way once I really see it....some crate paper and MME at this one!

Ah, the warehouse sale.... 4 times a year, ACOT opens their warehouse doors and you can shop directly there. It's a warehouse, not setup for retail sale, so it's definitely a different kind of shopping experience and you have to go prepared. But you can get awesome deals, and it's fun just going and seeing everyone.

I've known people to drive from Ohio to go...that's can be a 5 hour trip, depending on where you live! I'm lucky....I'm only 3 1/2 miles away.

Quinn and I went and got just a few specific things I was looking for and she found some stickers. I probably had the lowest total of the day!

Planned a day trip to go to the warehouse sale since it is about a 3 hour drive from home. Dropped off DH at the casino and I went shopping. I definitely recommend making a shopping list from the site ahead of time. Bought lots of cool stuff and went to 2 other stores in the area while I was in Saginaw. If you live too far away you could always buy online and take advantage of the free shipping option that was offered as well as the weekend crop discounts. Anyway, went back to pick up DH after I was done and he'd won some money so that helped offset my expenditures. It was a fun day for all.

Of course living far away makes it impossible, would be nice. BUT, I have lots of family in northern Indiana, maybe if I timed it right.......just thinking, lol.

I had too much going on this weekend and couldn't go, but I'm hoping to go one of these times -- I'm less than an hour's drive away and it seems a waste to not go!

I wish, maybe someday but it is like 5 hours away, not sure I would save 'enough' to justify that to dh!! Glad it was fun!
