I noticed on another scrapbooking supply site that they were having an 11% off sale today only. It kinda bothers me. It's not exactly the way I want to remember 9/11 ......with a sale.

Agreed. This not a day to turn in to a chance for profit- is there no end to the greed of some people? Somber reflection and prayer are what are needed today.

OMG so tacky it is disgusting. We aint talking about some little unknown site...I had to know so I Googled it... not so sure I want to patronize a place that makes such poor decisions... not that I would anyway - I am a dedicated ACOT shopper and this is just one more reason to keep it that way.

It's tacky, yes, but there are a lot of tacky holiday-motivated-sales... so unfortunately, it's really not surprising.

LOL at them being cheap, Janell. that's true also.

As I thought on it longer, it would be much more appropriate for a promo such as 11% of purchases will be donated to a charity or foundation supporting victims of 9/11. I am not surprised to see 9/11 sales already but it doesn't make it any less atrocious.
