Change in Deadline - To allow the cherries who are doing a Monthly PL page - New Deadline is Feb 2.

Hi Cherries, this is a new challenge for 2014. I hope that anyone who signs up will give it their best and run all the way to the finish in December.
What is Project Life? I love the short and sweet answer provided by Denise when I polled the MB about the possibility of offering this Challenge:
redsonic20 wrote: Project life is about documenting the every day. They are done in 12x12 page protectors that are divided up (usually in configurations of 4x6 and 3x4). It is usually documented with a two page spread for every week, but can be varied based on your needs. There are also smaller inserts you can add if it was a photo heavy week (say a vacation or major holiday) and thicker pockets that are meant to hold memorabilia and other goodies that wouldn't otherwise fit in your scrapbook.
Project Life can be done in a number of ways. I remember a few years ago (Nancy/Ayla mentioned this option) that everyone was doing P365 – a way of journaling life by taking a photo a day. There are even websites and blogs where you have them send you an email every day with a prompt! That seemed a bit much for me, which is why I adjusted my Project Life for last year – I let my kids take the photos!
Then you have the Weekly (P52) and Monthly (P12) versions.
Here is an example of a Weekly (this is the version I did last year):

Here is an example of a Monthly (this was the inspiration for me for this coming year, even though this Cherry did her project a couple of years back)

I’ve even seen where some ladies will combine two weeks in one dps. That way, you don’t have to be mindful of taking photos every day, but you can tell the story of what happened during the two – week period.

So whichever way you choose to scrap your Project Life this year, it doesn’t matter. It’s YOUR life. For this challenge, each month, you can post once or you can post multiple times (if you have weekly). But everyone’s name will go into random.org only one time. Those doing the weekly version will want to share every week (I hope). Oh, and you don’t necessarily have to do 12x12. You can use the MiscMe books from Bo Bunny or the Smash Books from K & Company, or 8.5x11 albums. It’s YOUR life!
I will also add a twist to the challenge each month. If you incorporate the twist, then you will get an extra chance for that month.
And, last but not least, I hope to provide you some links with inspiration from around the world of others who have been doing Project Life.
For this month:
TWIST: Create your cover sheet for the year. Here is my sample - influenced by the Color Challenge (now to create another layout for that challenge - see Rule #4 below)

INSPIRATION: Pinterest has become my GOTO spot for inspiration (I can’t believe I fought it for so long, but that’s another story). This Pinner has done a lot of the work for us, by collecting all kinds of inspiration. http://www.pinterest.com/charleighmims/ ... ject-life/
RULES (yeah, gotta have ‘em):

2)Please post layouts here, but I will check the gallery area as well.
