$1.25 each at Scrapbookpictures.com now thru March 16th!! They are regular 1.99 each. Has anyone ordered thru here before? What do I need to know before ordering. Will my mailman crunch the prints? How many is a good number to start with? I don't want to go crazy, but would like to see what my digi lo's actually look like in case I need to modify how I do things.....
*Update*
I received my 12x12's, and overall I really like them! I ordered glossy, and even tho they are nice, I think I will try matte next time so they are not so quick to fingerprint.

I've ordered lots of pics from there, but never 12x12. Well, until now. Have some on the way. I hope to get them tomorrow or Saturday - so I'll let you know how it works out!

I know this sounds stupid, but everything looks so much bigger! LOL It was really strange when I first saw my LOs in 12x12. I always zoom in so that I can get the WYSIWYG view. There are times when I have had to adjust the size of things like staples and stitches because they are HUGE when I zoom in the true view.

Nancy, how did your 8x8's look? I tried 1 8x8 at home, but my colors on the lo were red and gold, and when I printed I didn't change to photo print, and it was all pink. Soooooooooo off to google I go to look up true view......

Not that I know how it relates to the programs, but if you are wondering what WYSIWYG is its "What You See Is Whay You Get". "wizzywig"
LOL... I figured that out on my way to work last night. Never heard it "pronounced out" though!SusanZenn wrote:Not that I know how it relates to the programs, but if you are wondering what WYSIWYG is its "What You See Is Whay You Get". "wizzywig"
My 8x8's turned out well...I find I like glossy paper better than matte to print the layouts on. I did print on photo paper, and they looked better on better quality paper. The cheap stuff didn't show the colors as vibrantly. But my printer (I used the old one...it's before I bought the Epson) actually did pretty well as long as I made the settins for premium photo and used good paper.
I personally like matte prints and I LOVE my 12x12 prints!!!! here are what they look like on my wall....so if I coudl afford it Iwould have them all printd 12x12, but that is a little out of my price range when I can get an 8x8 book with 120 pages for about $75

~Angie~Love that arrangement like that! Maybe I liked the glossy better when I printed them because my glossy paper was better quality than my matte paper lol.nun69 wrote:I personally like matte prints and I LOVE my 12x12 prints!!!! here are what they look like on my wall....so if I coudl afford it Iwould have them all printd 12x12, but that is a little out of my price range when I can get an 8x8 book with 120 pages for about $75

Oh Angie that is so beautiful!
All of my albums thus far have been 12x12. would it be dumb to switch to 8x8? I'm not really worried about the cost difference since I really don't do that many pages. I probably have around 128-192 pages for a whole year, it's either 2 albums or 3, depends on the year. As of right now I am starting totally from scratch with 2011, all digital. I don't have any pg protectors or albums for this year that will work, since all mine are the old CM ones that weren't true 12x12.....
I have spent the evening modifying my lo's since one of the posters said all of her stuff looked really big after she printed it. I basically measured everything out to make them more like a paper lo - biggest pics are normally 4x6 in my paper world. Anyway, once I get my lo's back I will put out an update. I hope to hear back from some of the other digi newbies that are sending off to print!

~Angie~I order all of my prints there, they do amazing work, and package the shipments very well, you shouldn't have a problem with your order being damaged by the mail. They also ship pretty quick, and the owner will reply to any questions by email, and he has even called me.
It's great to hear your experiences...my order will go in this afternoon!Raine wrote:I order all of my prints there, they do amazing work, and package the shipments very well, you shouldn't have a problem with your order being damaged by the mail. I love their processing. Their prices are much more reasonable than anywhere close to me, and the shipping is pretty quick. I've never had an issue with colors being off, but I've only ever used them for printing photographs. Never thought about having my paper layouts printed, but I'm actually liking the idea of reducing them to 8 x 8 and putting them in an album for the grandparents at Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow, that is GORGEOUS!! I need to learn how to digi-scrap!
**Crystal** Scrapping, knitting mama to 3 girls!
I got by order yesterday. I have never ordered anything 12x12 before - but my layouts came well packaged. And I love how they came out!
I ordered matte finish, but with the sale going on, I might order a few in glossy just to compare.
