I'm not looking my best here, but considering that I gave birth just minutes before, I'm excused! When Parker was born, his cord had been wrapped several times around his neck and he was very pale and gray. They took him immediately to the bassinet and got him all pinked up, wrapped, and put his hat on him. This was the first time I got to hold him. Panic and amazements are the best words to describe how I was feeling. I was so scared when I first saw him and then just in awe when they handed him over.

I have no clue where the color-blocked paper is from, I also used fibers, ribbon, and cardstock. Lyrics are from Lonestar's "Amazed."

Awwwww, what a sweet page!! I'm so glad you did this LO, your son will cherish it for years!!!
OMG you actually put that hat in your scrapbook.
I could never do that, it is too bulky for me. I saved them in the hat box with first clothes etc.
