Here's my first layout using my Quickutz! Since I only have the lowercase set of Sonja, my "I" is kind of bothersome, but at their prices, I'll get more use out of the lc than uppercase, which will have to wait for some more money to accumulate. This picture was taken at Parker's 2-month photo shoot at the Picture People. We tried so hard to keep him up and finally I said just let him sleep and we got the best shot! He reminds me of a Anne Geddes baby here and I love this picture. I've been sitting on it for a while because it's one of my favorite pictures and I wanted to do it justice. PP is by Carolee's, cardstock and brads by Bazzill. I found the poem on another site and modified it from first picture to this. It reads:

I tried and tried to stay awake

to have my picture taken.

But I was so very tired

that I could not be awakened.

This whole day was exciting you see

I guess it was just too much for me.

So I shut my eyes to take a rest

and I slept too soundly as you can see.

Yet I hope this photo

will always bring you great pleasure.

As the years pass by and I grow up,

my Angel photo you'll always treasure.

Oh!! What a beautiful layout!
