This was so much fun to make and not too much harder than doing normal shakers. It just took a bit more time.

So here's how I did it:

The paper is Making Memories and the gold part is textured. Instead of the plastic sheet protectors that I normaly use, I bought a pkg of those clear folders that you put reports into and it has the little plastic piece that you attatch to the side. Yeah, those. They are much sturdier than regular sheet protectors. I cut out 3 plastic circles and 2 paper circles with windows. The 3rd plastic window is actually in the center of the whole shaker! I put a gold snowflake sticker on either side of the center plastic piece, so that you can see a snowflake from both sides.

Then I made the shaker like you would a normal one. I started with one side, placing the center plastic piece as if it were the backside. Then I put together the 2nd paper piece, beads and all, and placed the finished side ontop of the 2nd side. There you have it! Just think of it as 2 shakers stuck back-to-back!

Of cource you don't have to go through the trouble of adding a center plastic piece, but I like something in the middle of my shakers other than just beads.
