Kangaroo Snowman

Made with the new kit "Out of the North" by Hot Flash Designs. TFL

Notes:
The photo (a scanned 35mm film slide) needed lots of tweaking to make it visible. It was very pink and it took several tries, several versions blended into one. I did a separate layer just for the skin and erased just that area on the above layer which corrected for greater contrast and color correction of the snow.
I had to (slightly) adjust the colors of the kit PPs and elements to go with the photo.

I absolutely love all the layering of embellies at the bottom, working their way up toward the picture and layered papers behind it! Love the glittery leaf stems and the way you added the pic of a real kangaroo is an awesome touch! Gorgeous page and great job on the photo fix!

This is so cool! Love the snow kangaroo and that's really an amazing picture, I would never have guessed it was from 1960! Great colors and layering, love how the photo is tilted.
