2nd Grade Parent's Day

by scrapperqueenSep 18, 2003

These did not scan as well as I would have liked. This was from a few years ago when the twins were in 2nd grade. Jon's class had a Parents/Grandparent's day. He looked so handsome in his suit and they all did a wonderful job presenting poetry and such. The poems in the journaling are the ones they read in class.

Not much embellishing here. Stickers are Mrs. Grossman's.

Nice layout. Parent or Grandparent visit days are so great. My kids looked forward to it. The one year my Mom didn't show up and the teacher came to get me while I was helping in kindergarden and I spent the visit with him. After that we asked my best friend to come. He wasn't disappointed again. It is hard for the kids who don't have someone so if you can go in even as some other child's special friend person it really does mean the world to them. Glad you spent the day with him.Congrats on being the first to post in the challenge

Love how you did the letters of his name, and those stickers kids holding hands across the bottom. Great layouts with the photos and poems included!

It does look like your scanner was giving you trouble, but I still like the layout. I love the way you did his name on the first page--very classy looking. I also liked that you used your own handwriting on the pages. I think that will make it even more special for him, especially as he gets older. You did a great job.
