Swim

by pawprintsJul 1, 2012
For my July Graphic Design Challenge, using the graphic from LOST as inspiration. These are precious photos of my Cider swimming in my parent's pool when he was very young. TFL.

Journaling reads: Cider loved the pool. One day when he was only a few months old he got too close to the edge and fell in. He immediately swam and after we took him out he wanted to go back in again. He was an expert right from the start, and I loved so much to watch him swim. We would throw toys in for him to fetch and he would jump in after them. And when he came out of the pool he would would shake and anyone that was near him would get drenched!

Kits used: Days of Summer (Kristen Crownin-Barrow), Ocean Safari Watery Overlays (Kristin Aagard), Some Beach... Somewhere (Fayette Designs), Swim Fishy (Kristin Aagard), Ray of Sunshine (Lindsay Jane), Furbabies Here Doggy Doggy (Designs by Shelle), He Won't Go (jusme digital), and Quirky (K Studio)

Alpha: In the Swim Alpha (Patti Knox)

I forgot to say what a beautiful layout! I especially like the way you used soft crop/extractions and blended him into the aqua colored BG to match the water in your parent's pool! Excellent design! I'm sure it took a lot of time to construct.

I am really getting a feel for your precious dog, Cider, with all the LOs you have submitted that feature him. What a an engaging, fun loving pet he was! How wonderful that you have so many photos by which to remember and celebrate the too brief a time he graced your life!
