Ayla

family

by AylaSep 9, 2012
I finally played with paper for the first time in a year! Had a great time...and the best part is that other than the paper (which I bought a year ago), NOTHING was bought specifically for this project....it was ALL from stash! I can never list all the manufacturers, because a lot of it I didn't have stored with the packaging. There are many more, but I linked a few!

Now I want to make one for my craft room that says "create".

Sooooo gorgeous!!! I have that line but haven't used much of it yet; you did such a wonderful job combining elements. (and I'd love to know where you got the felt flowers?!)

The ink is dark brown, from Color Box...they are the cat eye shaped ones, in chalk ink. Chalk ink is my favorite for edging and shading.

Super awesome. Love the embellies, esp. the fragment with the key, and all of the bling.

OMG Nancy this is just AWESOME!!! I am so glad you showed a closeup of each letter! The details are just amazing! I love that each banner flag is different yet consistent with each other, and I love that each has a wonderful saying about family and home. The sheer ribbon gives it such a soft, delicate touch and I love how you also used it to tie around some of the letters! Oh and I LOVE that butterfly hanging from the letter "Y" with the sheer ribbon! And I also love how you have elements going outside the boundary of the flags, such as the awesome leaf on the letter "M" flag and the flower and strips on the "Y" flag. Wow Nancy this project is so great and so filled with love! I can't wait to see what you do with your "Create" banner!! And this absolutely does count for my challenge!
