My youngest granddaughter was born with a cleft palate and cleft lip. Thanks to some wonderful doctors and state-of-the-art care, her lip, palate and nose have healed beautifully. Cleft is one of the most common forms of birth defect. She is now 6 years old, beautiful and and sparkles with life.
