March Organizational Challenge-Ribbon
by momtoasoldierMar 1, 2006
This is how I organize my ribbon (all but Christmas ribbon, it is with my Christmas supplies). As you can see I don't have a large amount of ribbon, so this works great for me. I started with the decision to only keep a yard or two of ribbon off the spools I had and donate the rest. WalMart has the storage containers in the fishing department in various sizes and the floss cards in the sewing department. I liked the idea of wrapping my smaller ribbon around the floss cards and then the bigger ribbon on the clothes pins. Both these ideas I had seen in threads on our ACOT MB. Ribbon scraps go into the small zip bags. If you had a very large amount of ribbon, you could use the containers and sort by color, size, type, etc. My fibers are organized in the same manner.
