This is one of the funniest pictures of Tyler I have taken in a long time. The hidden journaling will explain.
Journaling:
The problem: Tyler is afraid to sleep by himself, in his own room. He is 9 years old, and it has been this way for a few years. He used to sleep with every light on in his room. For the past few months, he has been sleeping in Nathan’s room, in Nathan’s twin bed.
My solution: I tried moving Tyler’s bed into his little brother’s room, but I would still find him in Nathan’s bed. Nathan’s asthma and his huge tonsils, make him snore, very loud. Tyler complained about the snoring so much, that I moved him and his bed back into his own room. I have made Tyler’s room a very cool place for him to sleep, even an Army tent that goes over his bed. He is still afraid of sleeping alone in his room and of the dark.
Tyler’s Solution: Tyler was content for a few nights. One night, when I went to check on them before going to bed myself, I found Tyler in Nathan’s bed, wearing his daddy’s shooting ear-muffs. They totally keep the noise away. I had to take a picture of Tyler and the ear-muffs because it was so funny. I have to give Tyler credit for coming up with his solution to the loud, snoring problem. He is a very creative, problem solver.
Patterned paper and embellishments are KI Memories. Flower is Making Memories.
