by MommybrunoMay 12, 2006
My mom! Here's the journaling:
"...being the only girl had its advantages. For one thing, I had my own room and I did get spoiled some, though not enough to satisfy me. There were also a lot of disadvantages to the situation. I was always expected to do "girl things", like fix my hair and wear dresses and play with dolls. Every Christmas, I'd ask for a gun or a baseball glove and all I ever got was dolls. Only sissies played with dolls. I liked playing ball and climbing fences and playing cowboys. As far as dresses were concerned, I hated them with a passion. It was hard to climb a tree in a dress. To me, being a girl was boring. I always felt that God, in His infinite wisdom, had somehow made a mistake and put my little boy's spirit into a girl's body." (Vita's own words)
