Field of Dreams
by YankeegirlAug 18, 2021
This page is for the Aug. Movie Genre Challenge: Sports.
I chose #20: Field of Dreams.
My DGD is a HUGE Yankees fan. For several years, she has to tag along as her brother (a Ravens/BoSox fan and sports addict) has toured several baseball stadiums with their father, but never to the Yankees. So on our recent mini vacation trip to NYC, we surprised her with Yankee tickets. She had such a great time at the game, knew every single player and life story! We were glad we took her. Definitely HER field of dreams.
The Yankees were also my team growing up. Living in PA, I now root for the Phils.
