{main squeeze}
by brittanylynMay 28, 2006
Journaling reads: My first memory of Katie is at Genesis--a pre-orientation orientation
for incoming freshman at GFU. I was viewing my dorm room for
the first time, when Katie walked through my door. My memory is
hazy about what she said to me--but I do remember what she
looked like--wide-eyed, REALLY
excited, and her soon-to-be
unmistakable voice. She talked to
us about how excited she was to
live on the floor, make new firends
and such--I just remember
being a little dumbfounded.
Was she serious? She sounded
waaaaaay too joyful, peppy,
and all-over unreal.. What would
it be like to live with such a
character? Was she putting on
an act? She was just SOOO
cheerful--I couldn’t quite
believe it.
Little did I know......
...she
was about to come one of
my best friends that I
made that year. Since
then we have been
roommates, invented chair
dancing, and too many
inside jokes to count.
I have loved living with
her and I’m truly
blessed and thankful
that she considers me
her main squeeze. :)
