Seasons of Love
by Jolly Holly ScrapsNov 16, 2022
For the Music and Inky Fingers Challenges
I chose "Seasons of Love" from Rent, because when I read "seasons" in the prompt - this song (From Rent) immediately came to mind. I think the lyrics speak highly of what a year can be.... And the optimism of the lyrics "How do you measure a hear in the life? How about love?" (In my journaling) ... All the lyrics really speak to me and I think I'm gonna to scrap lift myself! I want this LO for the beginning in an album!
And for Inky Fingers
For the background, I was inspired by the wood grain and the circles of the dishes. I chose a soft white woodgrain and used my dye inks to create a rainbow of oranges, yellows and reds. I used pigment ink to stamp the hearts and rainbows. I used stitched circle dies to cut the photos and a couple of circles from scraps.
I also played with: Washi and enamel dots and puffy stickers, oh my!
I love how this came out! Thanks for the inspiration, Cherries!!!
