My Mom in 1972

by lisn2catsSep 28, 2023
I love this photo of my mom in 1972!

I needed to do a review for the scrapbook cardstock and decided to test it by using my more water-based mixed media: watercolor paint and oxide inks/water. (I was so happy that the paper didn’t need any gesso and it didn’t warp!) The left half (blue to purple) is watercolor paint and the right is a combo of distress and oxide inks sprayed with water. The circles and line were drawn with a Sharpie. THe other bits are 49 & Market rub-ons.

Products Used

This project uses products from Prima, Tim Holtz, Tonic Studios, Ken Oliver, 49 and Market

Love this! Love that watercolor paint and the Distress inks - and the paper didn't warp (one of my pet peeves using eater based mixed media)! Love that you used a pen to draw using the stencil!
