2024 100 Papers challenge
People’s kindness never ceases to surprise me. In another crafting community, one of my virtual crafty friends asked if she could send a card to my dad who was feeling a little down because of his chemo treatment. I thought “oh! how nice! He’d like that!” and was happy when my dad mentioned he received a card. However, a couple of months later while visiting my parents, I saw a bunch of cards displayed and they looked vaguely familiar so I asked about them. My dad said, “Your friend has been sending me cards regularly and they make me feel so good.” I was floored. She didn’t just send one card, but many. And each one lifted both my parents’ spirits. I am forever grateful for the thoughtfulness and kindness. (8x8 page)
