Chocolatey!

by VickiRJun 7, 2024
May/June Graphic Design Challenge - GS Cookie Box
June Carmen San Diego Challenge - NOLO with Fleur de Lis
We spent a weekend in March at Ocean Resort in AC. During our time there, they were offering GS inspired mixed drinks and donating $1 from each sale to the GS of Southern and Central New Jersey. Having been a GS leader for 9 years, I had to try one. Of course, the chocolate was my choice. The round tags, inspired by the thin mint cookie, have journaling on the back of them. The gold Trefoil always reminded me of the Fleur de Lis, so I tied the LO in with NOLO and their flair for cocktails especially during Mardi Gras.

This is so cool! I love the circles and the chocolatey title! I had no idea there were mixed drinks based on GS cookies! How fun that you have the photo of the drink menu on there with the glass! I love the touches of gold too! Thanks for doing my challenge!

Thank you, Barb! We just happened to be there during GS week when they were doing the special drinks. It was chocolate raspberry.

Chocolate! Caught my attention! Fun story. I was a Girl Scout back when cookies sold for 50c a box. (I'm old!)

Thanks! Me too, Annie. As a leader back when our girls were scouts, they were $3.00 a box. I have no idea the cost now.

The last box I bought (last year) was $5 and didn't have much in it. I sure miss the Thin Mints of old. So minty and good! Now they're just . . . thin.
