I hate to scrapbook about myself…

It’s funny, because in all of my magazines, scrapping yourself seems to be a major trend these days. Talk about the toothpaste you use, your favourite colour of underwear. I don’t know, it just seems a bit strange, I guess…

When it comes to scrapping, putting together pictures of my beautiful boys is so much easier than trying to come up with something that will tell all about how it feels to be 30 or a professional writer; what it’s like to have lived as a missionary in a far-off country like China; the joy at finding out you’re expecting a second miracle against all odds; and how it feels to spend the last four months of your pregnancy in bed.

I guess it’s because, maybe I haven’t really decided what I want to be when I grow up. I’m already a mother and a wife, but what is next? Is there more? Am I to be a world-renowned author, a leading sinologist or an inspirational artist?

And do I have to pick just one?
