- Contests & Challenges

I don't know why the scan made it so crooked. :(
For the Sketch 401 and the Hollywood’s Finest Al Pacino challenges. I chose Option 3 “Stand Up Guys” for my title. I created the vertical border by using a stencil and paste. The pictures are of Steve with 2 of his younger brothers. The one in the middle Joe is the one we stayed with who knew the kind of specialist my husband Steve needed this summer. We’re certain that the surgeon and Steve’s brother literally saved his life! The other brother was already scheduled to visit Joe and Robin before we knew we would be going there too. It was so nice to spend July 4th with so many family members and to know that things would come out just fine!
Materials – Sketch – PageMaps; Cardstocks – Bazzill Avalanche, Bazzill White, Unknown; Patterned Paper – Paper Studio; Border Punch – Martha Stewart; Stencil – Tim Holtz Layering Mini Stencil Set 13; Paste – The Crafters Workshop “Ocean Blue” Stencil Butter; Rhinestones – Queen & Co., Unknown; star Punch – EK Success; Title and large stars cut with Silhouette using Palatinio Linotype font.
