Using the art journal sketch prompt (Christmas traditions or something like that) - I wrote how we don’t really have a Christmas traditions now that I’m older and my parents are even older. BUT, something we started doing about 15 years ago was to take turns hosting dinner. About 5 years ago, I started getting worried about my dad driving with all the aggressive drivers in the area so we changed. Every year I ask them what they want, I get everything together and prepped then take it to their house to finish cooking. Since they have fancier dishes than me, it actually all works out perfectly.
