For the May Book Lover's Challenge Option 1 - to scrap about a family member's actual name and tell the story of how their name was chosen. This is my Midnight Sky.
Journaling:
After we lost Boomer, we wanted to get a black lab puppy for Twinkie. We contacted Twinkie’s breeder, and after a few litters that didn’t pan out, she finally had a black female for us. I wanted to name her Skylar, but I also wanted to name her in honor of Boomer. Since we had given Boomer the registered name Midnight Thunder, we decided to give her the registered name Midnight Sky. It was perfect for her as she has such a beautiful black coat like the night sky. And I love that her and Twinkie’s names go so well together… Twinkling Star and Midnight Sky.
Papers and elements from these kits: A Nature Tale: Reach for the Sky (Kristin Cronin Barrow), World of Color 2 (Sweet Shoppe DT), Fall Drink Special Hot S'mores Shooters (Jen Yurko), Winter Drinks Hot Chocolate Float (Jen Yurko), Bad to the Bone Take 2 (Jen Yurko), Starry Starry Night (Cindy Ritter), A Wild Summer: Night (Kristin Cronin-Barrow), Night Garden (Sweet Shoppe DT), and Furbabies Here Doggy Doggy (Designs by Shelle)
