Every year, I would either surprise my parents or ask them what they would like for Christmas dinner. This particular year, 2016, I surprised them with a crown roast of pork, complete with paper hats, roasted root vegetables among other things. I also made a few of my favorite appetizers including sparkling cranberries (basically cranberries rolled in sugar).
