Looking at the weekly art journal sketch challenge (65), I wanted to match my most recent layout and card projects with my recent ACOT order of Field Notes Collection (Arden Creative Studio). I love the designs from this collection :)
I cut one patterned paper to 5.5 x 8" pages. Whatever was left from it, I flipped to the other side to cut the 4 x 5.5" panel on the right page and two 2.25" circles (Hero Arts).
Then I placed the fourth largest 3D Foam Circle Frames over the circle shapes and adhered them on the left page with the E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips.
I foiled the circle frames with two colors of foils to create interest...super easy...no special tools. Wrinkle the yellow foil + applied on top of the circle frame (after removing the liner). The distressed lines are exposed adhesive so I took a solid green foil and applied on top to fill those lines. That's it!
The butterflies were fussy cut from patterned paper and popped up with the smaller 3D Circle Frames.
On the right page, the sentiment ephemera were secured on the right side with the E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips and the fussy cut butterfly was popped up. The strips of phrases were adhered with the E-Z Runner Micro Strips (1/8" wide adhesive).
Secure the pages on an art journal book with the the E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips.
*All adhesives: tape, foils + foam are from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Thanks for letting me play along!
