For the weekly art journal sketch challenge (73), I had the perfect collection to use - The Book Lover Collection (Memory Place/Kawaii Paper Goods)!!
I fussy cut all of the elements using patterned papers. To make them dimensional, I lifted them up with 1mm height foam so that they will not be bulky - 3D Foam Creative Sheets or Thin 3D Foam Squares Mix Pack (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L).
My subject was my favorite author, Courtney Walsh, who is also a scrapbooker, and how her stories made me feel (on the right art journal page). The pages are simple and clean style so that all the elements can be highlighted.
All of the journal pages' elements were secured with a combination of the E-Z Grand Permanent Dots + E-Z Runner Micro Strips for narrow areas (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L).
Thanks for letting me play along!
