Journaling:
For many years now, taking a picture of Maddie always triggers a “thumbs up” from her. Even if I sneak by and she is in the middle of something, she manages to get that thumb up just as I take the shot. I have thumbs up photos of her baking, playing video games with Aiden, and even at her sweet sixteen party. She even snuck one in at her high school graduation. Usually I will end up negotiating with her, that if I take thumbs up shots, can I please have one without the thumb.
