For the weekly art journal sketch challenge (#92), I used leftover patterned paper scraps (Christmas Cheer Collection by Arden Creative Studio) and cut them into different sizes of rectangles/strips. After distressing some of the edges, all were secured the E-Z Dots Permanent (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L) on the two journal pages used from patterned papers.

Left Page:
Using a short rectangle and distressing the ends, I added a tree element piece from the ephemera pack and popped up the sentiment with 3D Foam Circles.

Right Page:
I die-cut and assemble the Ornament Gift Card Holder Die Set (Emily Moore Designs). Pop up the ornament with several 3D Foam Circle Frames (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L) nested together to center it to the page. Add a 3.5 x 2" cardstock photo placeholder in the notches.

Lastly, instead of using sequins, I used the small 3D Foam Circles and foiled them with the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Celebrate. Simple foil steps: peel the top liner of the foam circles, place the foil (color side facing you) over the exposed adhesive and rub to transfer the color. Done!
