Journaling:
Justin and Veronica, I just recently started going through the boxes of books that both of you have read. It’s time to get rid of them from our house and let someone else get some enjoyment from them. It has brought back so many memories as to how many books not only you have read, but also how many books your dad and I have read to you two! Of course, a few of them have been snatched from the “to be donated” books and snuck into a box that I am holding onto for when you have children of your own. One of your favorite series was Mercer Mayer’s “Little Critter.” Did you realize that almost every page that is illustrated has a spider and a grasshopper on it? I think that is the author’s “signature trademark!” But, what I hope you remember the MOST from these books is the voice I “gave” to Little Critter!
