we hear/see the Disneyland fireworks almost
every night, so we did not go there, instead
we drove up to Lake Arrowhead last night, my
hometown, up in the California mountains for
the annual fireworks display right above the
lake and i just love how it fills up with all the
boats & crowds gather, surrounding it too.

(manual mode settings)
Nikon D70 digital SLR
18-55mm wide angle lens
f/16 & 20 second exposure

since i didn't have a wireless remote for the
shutter, i had it set on self-timer, and with a
tripod, the camera was able to capture multiple
bursts in one frame without shaky distortions...

the last photo was shot using a sparkler
to write the word "love" (still on tripod,
f/8 & 50mm lens, same exposure length)

TFL :)
