- Contests & Challenges

For the weekly card sketch challenge (#92), I used leftover patterned paper scraps (Christmas Cheer Collection by Arden Creative Studio) and cut them into different sizes of rectangles. All were secured the E-Z Dots Permanent (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L) on a 5.5 x 4.25" white cardstock card base.
I die-cut and assemble the medium Nested Ornament Die Set (Emily Moore Designs). After centering the sentiment, I used several 3D Foam Circle Frames (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L) nested together to pop up the ornament to the card front. Since it was popped up, I tucked in a couple of holly berries underneath.
Lastly, instead of using sequins, I used the small 3D Foam Circles and foiled them with the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Celebrate. Simple foil steps: peel the top liner of the foam circles, place the foil (color side facing you) over the exposed adhesive and rub to transfer the color. Done!
Thanks for letting me play along!
