I created this layout for Sandi's NSD challenge - "Cherries Start Your Engines" here at the A Cherry on Top message board. This was super fun! Sandi selected a color palette for us to choose colors from, and we had to include an oval and a banner somewhere on our layouts.

I used a Waffle Flower stencil to create my banner and an oval-shaped Altenew label stamp to create my oval shape. I put the date on the label and then fussy cut around it with Fiskars Paper Edgers.

I used a mix of new and old supplies to create this. The black cardstock, red cardstock, and yellow dot patterned paper are all from 2008ish -- no idea who made them. There's also red patterned paper that I'm pretty sure was Daisy D's. Anybody remember them?

The grungy yellow paper is by Craft Consortium, from their Grunge Light pad.

I used stamps from Prima and Echo Park plus Altenew alphabet dies to create the title and date. Narrow red Offray ribbon is a finishing touch on the page.
