The journaling is on the little pull-up tab and this LO will be in my mini-album that journals my mom’s transition from 63 years with my dad and a large beautiful home to becoming a widow at 90 and moving to an assisted living facility surrounded by strangers.

This is the second or third page (I haven’t done 1 or 2 yet). We were lucky - I found a place close to her home (so, familiar territory) that had an emergency respite room available. Basically, like a hotel. It was fully furnished but lacked a little life so I bought her a few small pieces of furniture and a mini-microwave and you can see the all-essential rice cooker! The gorgeous flowers were from a close friend of hers who helped my mom so much by visiting and letting her know she was not being “dumped” and forgotten, She stayed in this room for a little over a month before I moved her to her permanent room.

I forgot about that hydrangea stamp - another thing I need to use more often! I stamped it with Versafine ink and used watercolors to fill it.
