Easy Challenge! Create a layout in which you recolor an element to work with your own color scheme! Post your layout, and the original element (before you recolored it!)! There are a million ways to do the same thing in Photoshop, but the way I use the most often is this:

Image  Adjustments  Hue/Saturation
Play with the Hue until the desired color is achieved

*or* for a uniform, complete color change (especially useful for brushes and such), double click on the desired layer in the Layers Palette to bring up the Blending Options box.

Chose “Color Overlay” and set the color to whatever you’d like!
