My Grandson Joe had been scheduled to come stay with us the week before my birthday and he wanted to make sure I celebrated it right. So he bought a box mix of lemon bars for my cake. But things happened and he couldn’t come for a month. So this was part of my late birthday present. We used the old heart pans my Mom used for my birthday cakes and he did the decorating. For the My Mood challenge to use 1 circle, 2 half circle and 5 rectangles. For the Music Challenge – my choices were blue (The Moody Blues) and cream (Cream). For the 30 Items Prompt Challenge #30. Use at least 2 types of mixed media. Ink, chalks, paint, mists, pastes, etc. – I used watercolors and stenciling. For Team Flasher – Challenge #1 – My Mood – Use 1 circle, 2 half circles and 5 rectangles; Challenge #2 – Music – I chose Blue for Moody Blues and Cream for the band Cream; tag with string, enamel dots (Nuvo Drops), scraps of paper – the photo mats; my fav color – teal in the title; gallery post, polka dots – mat for bottom right picture; at least 10 words of journaling, 100 sheets challenge – 3, a bow, stencil as a mask with medium of my choice – the floral border around the page for a total of 11 points.
