NSD 2023 Background Challenge

I don’t usually say much about my layout process, but this is one of my favorite backgrounds that I’ve done with inks. The sky is a mix of oxide inks and acrylic paint using a sponge; the water is oxide and distress inks, Stampin’ Up High Tide ripple stamp. The city skyline is washi tape (if any one knows where I got the washi, please let me know. I am hoarding it!)

The photo was taken on the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency-Jersey City. The view of NYC was spectacular!!!
