Another page for DS's weekend kayak trip June 2017

Journaling:Day 3 found us up early and packing in the mist of the morning. We knew that to catch the tide and currents right we needed to be on the water by 9am. After breakfast we loaded up the boats and pushed off the land and on to the smooth as glass, Bellingham Channel.
We headed south towards the SW corner of Guemes Island. We crossed over the channel with our head lamps on as the fog was thick but the conditions were smooth. We then turned south to cross over Guemes Channel. We found hardly anyone out on the water.
