Create a Mother’s Day card or layout. The layout doesn’t have to be about you or your mom, any mom is fine. This shopping trip was on Mother’s Day weekend in 2014. I had one last sheet of this paper so I fussy cut the leaves and used some of the leftover paper for my journaling behind the window. The journaling reads We all knew that Mom was sick but at this time no one knew just how sick she was. She and Dad had just had the upstairs bathroom remodeled so I took her shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond. We had fun picking everything out. She was reluctant to ride in the wheelchair but she was happy because she could carry everything. And I couldn’t resist taking this picture because she was so happy. Little did we know that this would be our last shopping trip. She died about 5 months later. May 2014
