Where the Buffalo Roam

The scanner kinda cut the edges off...but there is white space all around
When I saw this months sketch challenge I just knew I had to dig these out! Pics from a day of hunting Buffalo all over town. The Art Museum had a fundraiser and artists decorated large fiberglass Buffalo (much like the cows in New York). Businesses sponsored the Buffalo to sit outside their business for the summer then at the end of the summer they auctioned them off at a huge dinner. They netted over $350,000!
We found 24 of 30 Buffalo in one day. we were in it for the fun of the hunt and didn't use the guide map but I made a pocket for it and journalling behind the page on the left.

Jackson MS did the same thing, except they used catfish. They were everywhere. Wish I had gotten picks, but that was before I got back into scrapbooking.
