Journaling reads: It was summer when Cider became part of our family, and he was only a few months old when we brought him to MiMi and Daddy's house one Saturday afternoon. He was very curious about the yard, and although we were watching him he somehow managed to fall into the pool. The result of this was that he discovered that he loved the water. He immediately began to swim as if he already knew how. After we pulled him out of the water, he wanted to go back in again. For the rest of the summer he loved going in the pool with the kids, and it was such a beautiful sight watching him so effortlessly glide across the water.
